Black Girl In Berlin
Black Girl in Berlin is a YouTube series that follows the journey of filmmaker and DJ, Folâsé (Fola - ah - SHAY). As a newcomer to the DJ scene, the Chicago native immerses herself in Berlin’s vibrant music and art world while navigating the challenges of being an expat in a new city. As an African American woman, Folâsé is excited to connect with Berlin's diverse African Diasporic community, as well as Afro-Germans, but her exploration of the city quickly shows her the contrasts as a black woman in a predominantly white European metropolis.
